Porthmeor Beach, St Ives
The building sits on the headland between Porthmeor and Porthgwidden — a stretch of coastal path known for wildflowers, seabirds, seals and dolphins, and one of the best in Cornwall for it. Porthmeor itself is soft, sandy, sheltered by two headlands, loved for its surf and, at the western end, its rock pools. Tate St Ives, the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, and the Bernard Leach Pottery are all a few minutes' walk away.
